There's also eREITs like Fund Rise that are growing in popularity.

I'm not suggesting either do not try to be as helpful as possible but if you ask if a hypothetical grantee will be an insured under a current policy in case a claim arises in the future I'd be surprised and disappointed if you get a responsive answer.
