Hey @Kettly Soivilien, 

Bruce does a great job of providing a blueprint. What I would add is to try and get your credit score as high as possible, if you can get to 750 you will get the lowest rates possible on the loan. 

While doing that I would continue to run numbers on properties showcased on Redfin, Zillow, etc.
