The good news is that Santa Clara County has seen just over 5% appreciation for the same period, so hopefully we align with the county in general at some point this year (Mountain View city level data is prone to large monthly swings due to the low transaction count).

I'm sure this is not great news for those looking to buy, but if you're buying with the long-term in mind, you want to see this.

The good news is that is you get the right financing there are people that will sign on the loan with you for a little bit of the equity (they are called a Key Principle - KP).
