I feel I get plenty of great info from BP and it allows me to step into a real estate lawyers office better armed with knowledge so i dont sit their nodding my head as he speaks not knowing what he is talking about.1.

There are so many ways to reach your goals, that is one of the best things about real estate, but rehabbing is definitely a great starting point for raising capital and there are a ton of great hard money lending, though each specialty requires a lot of knowledge.

That way I'm able to enjoy my living style, obtain interest deduction, and still feel safe in the knowledge that I have a free and clear home to move into if I ever need to.JSCOTT-I'm sure there are many people doing this currently, if they are smart.

The more knowledgeable you are the better you'll be at making better decisions.

While all of the above is true and good advice the easiest way to avoid lending scams is to deal with the handful of really knowledgeable lenders that regularly post on BP.

It is not often (in fact, to my knowledge, not ever) that you will find an event of actual pure education and networking with actual real life investors who do this for a living.

And further, what about a wiki for the consumer to crowd source not just the hiring of but in effect turning the whole WIKI into a population of knowledgeable people working in collaboration with you?

Scott...I have read many of your post's and I really respect your knowledge, but I do not make up numbers, If you make and try to save a big profit in this country, you will taxed to pay for politicians and dead beats. sorry if I offened you or anyone else.

I absolutely cannot wait to soak up as much knowledge as I can from other members, with the hopes that one day I will be able to share what I have learned with others!
