As I understand it, renting to a voucher holder is as simple as showing the unit, taking an app, and if they look good, filling out their packet and giving it back.

They actually use the DealMachine app and add them in their account it’s a good way to track them and you get most of the public information of the property right away but requires a subscription.

It is easy to use and has both computer and mobile APP to monitor activity. 

The mobile app has some pretty big navigation flaws, and not seeing the whole forum name is just one of them.

Trying to find out what apps are the best for the various tasks that real estate investors do on a regular basis.

Now to direct mail them and cold-call them.Do you guys know of any good apps that let you rent numbers so they don’t get your actual phone number?

Haven't found a good (affordable) one yet that specifically targets the multifamily/commercial space.Marketing apps similar to dealmachine, where you can find a property and put that owner (occupied or absentee) on an automated mail campaign.I haven't done extensive research yet, but also haven't come across anything that gives me a reliable phone number or email address of potential sellers.  

I let them look and then take an app if they want the unit.

Again, you may run into transfer limits with some of those other apps when it comes to paying rent.
