Syndication with a Self Directed Roth IRA
BP Teammates, I've an opportunity to buy into a large syndication deal and I want to use my Roth IRA. I'm currently looking at all the BP posts about SDIRAs and have not yet seen one discussing buying into a syndication. I don't think I would need The services of a checkbook IRA and I'm not looking for a lot of interaction with the custodian. I think I'll need to set up the account and receive investment contributions monthly or quarterly for 5+ years. I need to select a custodian, talk it over with my CPA and REI lawyer... any recommendations on a custodian or steps I'm missing? Thank you in advance!

I'd suggest you learn about Checkbook Control IRAs. Cuts down on transaction fees significantly and it'll help you get your proceeds redeployed into another investment more quickly.
