Most homesellers will slam doors in your face, hang up the phone on you, ignore your postcards/letters, and just not want to speak with you.

I'm fairly new to this as well so maybe I'm showing my ignorance on this one but...How is it better to buy a property at the top of the market that you intent to hold for long term?

However, they will probably ignore it as long as it's parked on private property.

(The seller can, of course, ignore the buyer's demands, but the seller can't terminate the deal just bc the seller has other offers or just bc the buyer is being obnoxious).

As Jay pointed out, this is the downside to these "great cash flowing properties" in the Midwest.......... there is often very little appreciation and the exit can be ugly....LOTS of people ignore that part....I'm with James....... you hire a PM and take the $100-300/month per unit....... you are now much more passive.

IMO the real issue is him ignoring your calls.

Do you just ignore it & find another property to tackle, or do you go head on get right to it ?

I called to get them to give me their return address but they ignored my calls but I found their current mailing address on google.
