A good habit to get into is all of the large commercial firms, JLL, Cushman, CBRE, Avison release market reports each quarter and has a lot of information on what happened the past quarter and some perspective of what is coming.

My firm has Landvoice and Mojo as well, but I just like the lay-out and numbers of Prospect Now.

Either a deal is going to meet your returns/risk threshhold or it isn't....our job is to provide information, recommendations, and suggestions as it relates to a given deal.What we do at our firm is we often have loyal clients who will consult us about deals that we aren't even involved in.

I don't see a restaurant/bar/coffee shop being opened up there.... has to be some sort of office, like a RE office, a law firm, or something of that nature, and limits its potential tenant pool....I really really like this one and see big potential in it....

It is also a pain for public accounting firm's, like ours, as the onslaught of 1099 worksheets coming by email, fax, regular mail, FedEx and I think one even came in by pony express.

My advice, ask other agents, call up other brokerages, go to business mixers and inform yourself of the industry, use glassdoor for reviews on the brokerage firm.
