Without knowing the specifics of your situation, typically real estate can offset 1099R income but I wouldn't use this as a blanket statement.

Thank you, I mean if one gets a loan to buy a home and rents it out so the renters can pay the mortgage while the investor keeps on buying homes but all are loans not purchased in cash, exactly when will the investor see a profit , seems like it will be a while.
