It can definitely be an invaluable learning experience and wealth building tool. 

I'm getting concerned because I know from all my BP reading/learning that expected PM rates vary from 5%-10%, so I was preparing to pay on the upper end of that to make sure I find a "Rock Star" PM (as BP books would emphasize doing).

It might cost you 10 or 20 bucks to join a meet and greet, but it can be a learning experience.

Create a detailed post or thread that outlines your past projects, what you've learned, and the returns you've achieved.

We wanted to build a cabin for us but learned there is nothing and off grid so it has been sitting there for last three years and paying the property tax.
