Hello, by way of introduction, my name is Christopher Beccles and I reside in Montgomery County, Maryland.I'm new to the real estate investment business, my background to date has primarily targeted the IT sector.

I plan to talk to a local CPA if needed (and of course when taxes need to be done), but so far am having trouble finding those with real estate backgrounds, at least by recommendation by those I trust.

Hello, I'm hoping for some advice on an investment strategy for both my 401K and personal property.A little background: I'm single, 50 and have 2 kids with me part time (not claimed as dependents).

I've been a photographer for the past 12 years and do real estate photography and also have a background in design so I'm more than willing to help anyone in those areas if I can. 

But based on my background and experience my wife and I are in search of a home and based on the research we have done, we are thinking of looking for a fixer upper and seek hard money funds to renovate it to our liking. 

I have a background in financial analysis so that has helped, as I enjoy crunching the numbers, and finding the deals.As I move forward though I want to learn from others, as up to now I have done much myself, and feel there is a great opportunity for me to learn, and sharpen my game.

Hi Chad,I don't look at this as something that you need to contact an attorney about; I think it's a matter of common sense and it's also nice to be sensitive to your customer's backgrounds in any business, so you're already showing that you're taking that extra initiative, and I applaud you for it!
