Thank people that wrote content that really helped/inspired you and get involved in the discussion and ask questions.  3) Read the free guides and listen to/watch the podcasts.4) Then contact some local guys and have coffee or something.5) Start a blog here about your journey of becoming an investor.  

I'm a recent graduate and also an engineer so this is very inspiring for me.  

Hope this inspired a couple people and that @Ben Leybovich doesn't roast me to bad for aggressive investing lol!

I don't know what else to add but hopefully this will inspire others who have had some financing difficulties!
