Personally, what I have done and have helped a lot of other people do is find a single family residence with 5+ bedrooms and 2+ bathrooms.

Online there’s a chart but it describes 1-4 bedrooms but doesn’t differentiate whether it’s for a house, duplex, 8 unit or 800 unit.

We live here month-to-month, 3-bedroom apartment in the middle of San Diego paying $1800/month.
