Again, I don't want to scare off the idea, you certainly could make some $$$ doing this, just playing devils advocate and making you think about all aspects.I should add, I've had several friends who have rented campers to camp with us, and they've enjoyed the experience and have said they'd do it again over buying their own camper.

What looks rock solid now may blow up in your face later.Your documentation SHOULD include collateral and default provisions, along with the same contractual requirements you would have with an unrelated party.Doing the minimum for a long-term transaction makes about as much sense as buying the minimum amount of gas to get your car from point A to point B.

The design to be 100% complete, (if fact it's better that it isn't so you can pivot and not blow your design budget due to redesign), but it's a good starting point so the contractors know you are serious - especially if there is no established relationship.
