Seems like forming an LLC makes sense, but then new LLCs can't get financing very easily so I'd have to finance in my own name anyways.

I have thought about transferring the property to my LLC then getting cheaper insurance.

First I was going to build the capital using other methods of real estate investing but I was wondering if just getting an SBA or some other loan for my LLC in order to gain some debt capital and use to purchase rental properties with the BRRRR method.

Can’t seem to figure out if I should or LLC or not.

Properties can be in LLC for DSCR loans, but they do not have to be. 

Unfortunately in NY, I was advised litigants sue you and the LLC anyway, so insurance agents I used say that I have to get insurance for my LLC, and in addition an endorsement that covers me personally.
