Hi Guys,in FL,HOA is foreclosing on a house in a week - Lien of 25k.the property also has a 1st position loan (Reverse mortgage)  that also just started proceedings with no set date or "Final Judgement" numbers yet.On the details of the 1st reverse mortgage foreclosure, its only mentioned that there is 320k principal balance due.The original note of the 1st was issued 2009, with a total sum of 650k, payble up to 2081 (!!).

The forums are great but tax pros here don't know all the ins and outs of your specific situation so it's hard to give definitive answers.Do the house hack though!

Plan to rent the property by the month, targeting traveling nurse/Dr. 

The cans need to be rolled to the curb twice a week and the city limits the time they can be out, from the evening before pickup, to the night of pickup.

Hello all, I'm curious how much the HUD will actually pay compared to the 40th percentile rents posted on their site.I'm aware of the different amounts each tenant will cover in terms of their portion of the rent, but I'm not sure if the HUD will actually agree to my rent price.I've been taking the stated FMR for the bedroom count, and taking 20% off the number stated (to be conservative as to what the HUD will accept).
