You just reminded me that I was going to bump this thread a few days ago.I am an aspiring investor who grew up in Tucson, but am currently living in San Francisco.

As you make connections, build some rapport, then check in every other week to remind them you exist and what you're looking for.Hope this helps.

This reminds me of what Robert Kiyosaki says when when people ask him if real estate is a good investment and he replies, "it depends, are you a good investor."  

I need the meditation to center myself, gym to get my mind going, and make breakfast for my wife and kid to remind myself it's not about me.I never sit idol.

I do ask what they are looking for in a place and if they mention something that doesn't go with my property I gently remind them of what the ad said about that and make sure they are not wasting my time.

I've had that question a few times as a Realtor and I gently remind the client that if I'm represnting them on the buy side then I do not get a commission from them as a buyer.

We should have accepted the counter (unfortunately I drive by those 8 units multiple times a week to be reminded on my mistake). 

Rented a small two bedroom to a young unmarried couple, never one of the most reliable renter groups, but it was November, and within two months the boyfriend has moved out.Of course no comment to us, rent was not late in January, but that looks like stormy weather ahead.Thinking about sending the boyfriend a letter reminding him he signed a year lease and is legally responsible for the lease's responsibilities.

The corporate formalities are good reminder to maintain and I will continue those to make sure each LLC is run as a business.
