Although you can give many things away, sometimes it is easier to just throw it in a dumpster and have it gone for a couple hundred bucks.

We got the idea to maybe make a few bucks and rent it and thought we NEEDED property management as we had never done this before.

While I prefer to walk it in person, technology is mature enough to do the transaction remotely.

For water, it only costs a few hundred bucks to install low flow showerheads and even low flow faucets.

Ya this mentor should never have taken half of your life savings .. or like others who encourage folks to go into CC debt.paid for training can be a good thing.. but bottom line is you need capital to invest in real estate .. how are you going to make that capital back.the only way would be to do transnational real estate IE become and agent and make nice big commissions but even at that you need a years worth of income stashed away..I like your other idea  buy a house to live in .. you can find almost all gurus written materials and CDs extra on E bay for 20 to 50 bucks.. from students who never used it.

If they’re looking for bang for their buck, then out of state investing preferably in the south where prices and taxes are low would be best.

After 3/22 was totally dead for us since we keep the prices quite high to steer away crackheads/teenagers looking to vacation for 100 bucks a night.
