Few weeks ago a fire broke out in Shasta lake city not to big but to where it's very noticeable in somewhat good neighborhood.

You and I both know that NYC is flooded with foreign capital driving the RE prices through the roof, and consequently the surrounding communities are seeing an explosion in housing prices as rents force people from their neighborhoods.   

I start looking into buying a nice big home after renting out a penthouse condo in the middle of the city when I ran into a speed bump.Buying too many luxuries, whether you're paying cash or financing them, can hurt your business as an entrepreneur in the long run. 

We'll be selling our home in a year or so, and it's perfectly fine, up-kept, good neighborhood, etc - but I'm tempted to sell to an investor just to avoid doing paper work. :-)
