Planning trip to Nashville to explore multifamily market

I'm planning a road trip to look at some select cities in Tennessee and North Carolina. We are looking for value-added multifamily properties with 40+ units, and we think that TN and NC have some good outlooks. I'm would like to meet some local real estate people who know the local multifamily markets well. Would appreciate any referrals. 

Areas I'm interested in visiting (but not limited to):

Nashville, TN

Memphis, TN

Chattanooga, TN

Raleigh, NC

The Triangle, NC

Asheville, NC

I don't have any firm trip dates, but I'm planning to make the road trip before the end of November this year.
