They apologized and I declined it:  thanking them again and saying that I really did appreciate them doing their jobs so well.I don't want to go head-to-head in a fight I can't win.

@Thalia MenaGeorge, apologies I have read thru the entire forum, and see that you have discussed that already.

I reminded her of the lease agreement..was not accusatory..reminded her of where she can go in the case that she does want to smoke...and she said...I apologize about the complaint but I don’t smoke and said it was probably the movers.

I'm leaving my property because I don't feel it safe anymore, or that it will ever recover I apologize if this makes you mad or anyone else.

Don't remember who said it, but not that long ago I saw someone saying they will actually put a For Sale sign on the front lawn of a places that look vacant.When the owner sees the sign, or someone tells them, and they call the person would profusely apologize for the mistake.

@Joshua Dorkin I apologize if I gave you the impression I was suggesting Bill's concern was ignored intentionally.
