@Trevor Lohman I think the confusion (and you're not alone in it, by any means) comes from people correctly using the term 'turnkey' as both an adjective and a noun.

There are a lot of ways to do this...and a lot of those ways can, and have, ended up in peril.  

The basement level had a 3/4 bath, a family room with big windows and sliders to a patio, and a laundry room that could easily have been converted to a kitchen.
