So if a $250,000 house in Houston, Texas breaks even with a 20% down payment a $1,000,000 house in Houston would need a 40% dp to break even ( in general).

Hello BP Fam,I'm looking to relocate to houston from los angeles to owner occupy a multifamily property.

This is my first foray into purchasing a property specifically for rental purposes.I'm planning to take out a cash-out refinance loan from my other rental property (I'm thinking $150-$200K) to purchase a townhouse or single family home in Houston that is mostly turnkey and then renting it out for an additional income stream. 

I am currently in the market for a duplex or triplex in Dallas/Austin/ Houston.

Houston TX - it will allow me a 3bd house. from an investor prospective: which one is the best to go with?

Specifically, the Houston MSA or the San Antonio MSA.My current situation is that I'm unemployed, but have 150k in cash to invest in real estate.
