Hi Eric,For the loan we got offers from 3 banks, HSBC, BNP Paribas and Credit Foncier, we went for HSBC in the end.Interest rate was at 1,85% for 15 years (note we bought it at a SCI and otherwise would have been a bit lower).We never asked minimum upfront payment as we had decided on a sum to put in since before and this was more than the minimum.Documents they requested was:PERSONALPassport copy of adults and kids in the family Birth certificate including information of civil status, and as i was divorced previously they asked also for... ...court order papers as proof of evidence this was completed Divorce partition of assets documentation Parents birth certificate Proof of residence (electricity bill with name on) FINANCIALCertificate of employment including income and bonus statement Last 3 months’ bank statements for all accounts held solely or jointly, showing income (including rental), loans, mortgages and regular outgoings.

The company that removes the tank and contaminated soil needs to be licensed to do so and will have to provide you with a certificate from the state proving that this work has been done properly.

If I think the tenant is very good, I'll send the cleaning crew again, if not, I'll offer them a $50 to $100 certificate to take off the rent the next month and do the cleaning themselves.
