My most profitable markets though by far per deal are Charleston SC and Portland Oregon and Vegas.. 

He's an attorney with Anderson Business Advisors out of Las Vegas, Nevada and he's also a real estate investor.  

We own several facilities and my favorite resources are.....Inside Self Storage-they have a magazine subscription, a nice and informative website, and they do a major trade show in Vegas once a year.Texas Self Storage Association-look and see if your State has an association.

Now I want to move west, maybe Vegas, to get closer to my kids and grandkids who live in LA but don't want to move to California.

I do this for my Las Vegas tenants, while I am in southern california. 

Vegas is interesting on the list as #2 for appreciation for the last year (only behind Seattle) but still has not reached its post recession RE prices.  

Turns out that the guy who previously had the job, then was promoted and moved to Las Vegas, he didn't like Vegas and wanted his job back.

I'm interested in buying a condo in Las Vegas where the seller is subject to Firpta withholding.

That area is great to rent out all year long because of the casino and horse track during the colder months and of course great for the summer time.
