They had started out way too high and didn't get in the right price range until the winter slump. 

Tired of grey skies and long Canadian winters, my husband and I are looking to move to sunnier climates in Florida (West Palm Beach or Fort Lauderdale) and ideally purchase an investment property as a Short Term Rental.

You can always look up the property taxes, and utility companies will give you cost of utilities for past 12 months so you can see what's up.. high in winter,, usually.. 

The thing is a 3 month rental means you are moving out right in the start of winter; which makes for a harder time to find new tenant.  

I should have bought some of those Borgata units when they were 30k LOL  Any way the other tid bit I remember as a snow bird you have to have weekly inpsections of your property during the winter other wise insurance wont cover a loss.I never had rentals. just a home that I lived in.. 

Winters I spent at college to learn accounting in English. 

Im from California so I was wondering about winter problems, concerns as well???
