So start there, and if by some chance it wasn't permitted as a legal 2 unit you probably just need to submit a simple plan showing the entire existing building and designating the two units.

HASLC is usually pretty easy to work with and it should only take a couple weeks at most to process the paperwork.I find everyone there to be much easier to reach via email.I’m assuming you’ve submitted the new owner paperwork and received the HAP and it didn’t have the rent listed?

I’m stationed at JBMDL, am retiring this year, and submitted for my Home Inspection license two weeks ago...my business is about to go live in a few weeks and my goal is to focus on helping our military families through the home buying process and I’m sure we’ll cross paths at some point.
