Is the other heir willing to receive their 50% after selling costs (commissions/title/tax/etc)?

I own a commercial land lot in Birmingham AL and I signed it over to a broker so he can list it and sell it.

My husband and I “retired” early did the whole sell everything and full time RV.  

If you sold the property already and didn't engage a 1031 intermediary at the time of sale, it may be too late to do a 1031 exchange.It is unclear whether you did engage one as you meantion selling the propertying and 'wanting' to do a 1031 exchange.

I found a building with 4 units selling for 580k all units are currently rented totaling 4200$ per month. 

If that’s the case then the right thing would be to sell the properties.

You can get “blanket loans” but they’ll be higher interest and make it a little harder to sell.

I would not recommend this strategy.Deals:The markets have been stagnant for the last 9 months, prices have not risen and expensive properties with higher rents are having trouble selling, even if they are at the same market caprate.

Hi there, I have a seller wanting to sell a fourplex and duplex but is trying to delay it till 2025 because of the capital gains she would accrue.
