After you confirm, or take the necessary steps, so you can legally manage for others, the lease should identify the owner of the property as the "landlord" and you as the "agent" for that landlord.You should also make sure to check your state and local requirements for the lease, to make sure it complies.

The owner fixed the discoloration in a closet she called "black mold", but it was never tested or confirmed to be even be mold.
