Does anyone have any experience with fundrise.com or similar crowd funded REI sites?

WELCOME, look around the site, read past posts, blogs and listen to the podcasts.

I usually learn far more from my mistakes than I would ever learn from my successes.Plus you have the added advantage of a large pool of mentors, advisors and information on this site.

The reason I think it is a scam is that there is NO contact information either in the ad or in the google doc.If it was a site trying to sell educational material or actually get birdogs, then there would be some sort of contact information in the ad.

The first 24 hours already makes me realize how valuable this site and people are.Rich

To evaluate deals in the future, be sure to check out this video if you haven't already:To find good contractors in the area, I suggest: Angie's List, networking here on the site with local investors, or going to local REIA's and asking around.

Typically from what I have been reading there is a lot of uncertainty from the people that have used the site to bid on properties.With that being said there are a number of people that claim it is legitimate and the major problems stem from lack of due-diligent on the part of the bidder.
