I'm sure on the surface it's as simple as rewiring a light switch (It's always that simple) but I've seen it where once you open that junction box, the reality starts to set in that its more than a light switch.

So if a house is listed for rent for $1000, it most likely rented for $1000 or lower, but Rentometer would always pick it up at $1000 even if it actually rented for $950.

They picked up some, but not all, and then the inspector can 10 minutes later, and wrote the ticket.

Which is I'm currently looking at other areas I can relocate to where deals aren't so scarce they get picked up by investors within a week.

The problem is it is peeing on the floors, which are mostly tile, but bedrooms are carpeted, and the tenant isn't picking up the poop in the yard.  

Fairfield County is obviously out of the question, there are so many towns to pick from beyond though, it's overwhelming. 

There is still good money to be made in AZ, FL, GA, TX and other states, however, picking the right submarkets is key.

I’m not sure if that’s a valid option so do not take any of this as advice but seems that would be a simple fix to your question.
