@Robert Sims sounds like a positive problem to me.

I have a stock portfolio, and sock away on a monthly basis way more than 50% of my after-tax take-home pay.It has taken me years and years to get to this position, a position that I consider to be very solid at this point in my life/career.

All I've seen online was very positive stuff, but maybe we are biting off more than we can chew for our first investment.

I put myself in a homeowner position as if I were going to love in the house and not just a flip and be done.I ended up putting in $180k into the house but we were also able to sell the house for $730k.

@Patrick McKenna Did you call the WV  Housing Department or just check their website?

My husband and I did this very successfully in a similar position to yourself and have a nicely cash flowing duplex now.  

It's time consuming for sure, but you can look up the largest property managers in the target area and they will often have a website that lists the rentals they manage.

As another option, from what I see from the podcasts, you have so many options from your position.

If it was a hot stock, you would have already liquated your position.
