Hello everyone, I'm currently an undergraduate student at Fordham University in New York City, looking to invest in rental properties and perhaps single family homes in New York City, New Jersey, and Westchester County, New York.

Educate yourself on REI and save money to avoid student debt.

Student Debt?

If you like college towns then Binghamton and Cortland are  great area for college student rentals.

My advice would be to pay up the student loan debt.

I am 23, a recent college grad with 16k in student loan debt.

However, college student rentals are great because the parents guarantee them, and you can set up payment made directly from the parents rather than the students themselves.

With 4 kids, a mortgage, 2 vehicles and some student loan debt it will be more of a challenge but I plan to make my REI mark here in Central Arkansas for my family's future!

That being said, I am currently around $80,000 in student debt (worth it).

I also have about 40k in student loans from graduating last year and i currently make about 80-100k a year.
