Hello all, I am an American citizen living overseas who is looking to invest in rental income properties in Charlotte, North Carolina.I was wondering if it's overwhelmingly difficult to apply for a mortgage with foreign-earned income?

Hi all -- In my 4-plex, I have a tenant with 2 large flags draped over his 2nd floor balcony -- both very clearly express his viewpoints on certain topics.

Outside of that, I work hard and I need to get paid.As a final note, allow me to express my appreciation.

It would be no different than say X rent for African Americans and Y rent for Caucasians.Your profile says DC, and in DC source of income is a protected class.

If service animals are protected under the Americans With Disabilities act, if businesses have to abide by that act and cater to people with disabilities, and if you're operating a business then I would assume yes you have to allow it.

Have any of you had tenets express that they would pay more for a quieter unit? 

I am an introvert, so these first steps will be a challenge but I also realize how important "getting out of my shell" is to our success.I would also like to express my appreciation to everyone in the BP community for being so welcoming and being willing to share their knowledge. 

As you can see, its $5k holding up, $37k in equity.I agree about the credit card debt and expressed the same concern to my lender.
