Perhaps there are a few folks in Canada brave enough to install them, but I can’t imagine that being a cost effective solution up there (unless you live in Western BC).Since you have a gas line already available, you do have the option of installing a heat pump with a gas furnace backup.  

I own in several regional, drivable vacation rental markets (G-Burg TN and The Emerald Coast of FL).

Which FC sites would you recommend for a real estate investors in western US region? 

Consider this: last year’s West Coast fire season was the worst on record, and yet California has already seen twice the acreage burned this year than during the same period in 2020.

Have you found a better market in NH for them such as lakes region, or on the coast? 

I'll be looking more in to mid-western markets and seeing what are the neighbors that I can invest. 

I’ve seen a $450k condo in the Gold Coast he bought and rehabbed to the point of being valued at around $1m (with a little over $300k of work).

Then factor in the 2 seasons that draw people to the area: 1) Summer - people down south want to get away from the heat 2) Winter - people want to see snow and experience a real winter.Then throw in various events like a Bluegrass Festival, Western days, Rodeos, Etc....IMO one of the best places I've seen to operate a STR.
