My true passion is trains and I have made something out of myself in the hobby with custom painting, weathering etc.

A good property manager is key, but that holds true wherever you choose to live.

I have heard that lending institutions want to see these additional payments to consider the buyer in a true lease option situation.

Turnover, Maintenance, Capex, Legal, Pest, Landscaping, and Management fees are all 2x to 10x higher than you are probably estimating (if you even accounted for all those), once you account for ALL the costs, the true costs.Stop buying junk properties people!

But it really does feel true.

It does not matter whether you choose SFH, MFH, mobile homes, strip malls, or hotels...the true determination of your success is how well you know your strategy and your area.Having said that, I would recommend examining your motivations for SFH.

So with that caveat, I'll give you my opinion:What I can tell you is that house pricing doesn't drive population and job growth in a city; rather the opposite is true.
