Thats why i am looking at Baltic countries, and according to my first research, financing should be available at 2 to 2.5% interest rates.I expect rental yields not so great (5 to 7%),  but I see prospects in sqm prices and I want to diversify my portfolio and always like apartments in attractive (capital) cities, especially in the old towns.I wanted to talk to people about their experiences before I get deeper into research for a particular place.

See as best you can if they are still working and what their prospects are of continuing to work.3.

And if he has as much junk as you say he does, then showing it to prospective tenants before he moves out probably will not yield you with the demographic you are seeking.

Not forgetting to prospect and track everything.

6 Tenants in 2 years....that's not good...I hope you are not telling prospective tenant about your record.....they might start thinking about Carbon monoxide poisoning

Recognizing that the city is completely different block-to-block, I've been making regular trips at different times of day to check out prospective areas. 

Moving forward I am looking at making more purchases in the area (Austin if possible) but am looking for a better balance of cash flow and appreciation and thus am looking at the entire i-35 corridor (Georgetown --> Austin --> Buda --> Kyle --> San Marcos --> New Braunfels --> San Antonio).What are your thoughts on which cities have the best prospects for balanced growth along the i-35 corridor outside of Austin and why?
