It was mentioned several times at the summit to hit up local rei clubs and it's good to have another local BP member at least indicate they do have some value.I was initially extremely turned off by their site because the FIRST thing I was presented with was a typical marketing ploy to get my name and email in return for "unlocking [their] free report today!"

I won't be assuming the mortgage, as that would indicate that the bank has accepted me as the new holder of the debt.... but the bank is not interested in that (especially since I don't have a job).

The one near me offers classes called “Evaluating Income Property” and “Affording Your First Home.”A quick Google search indicates that the University of Utah offers continuing education classes in “Consumer and Family Finance” as well as “How to Use Financial Markets to Protect Your Investment.”

That indicates lenders may be more willing to take a partial loss on a mortgage than take their chances pursuing foreclosure and reselling the property.

So, if the inspection report came back really bad -- to the point where the buyer felt the need to back out -- the issues were probably real and it wasn't just the inspector trying to justify his fee.The fact that the buyer backed out of this deal is indication that you may want to reconsider using this renovation crew in the future...they clearly missed some big stuff.

Any spikes or higher usage is a good indication that heat pump isn't running correctly and heat strips are working more than they should.
