I've been thinking about getting into remanufactured homes.

The learning curve has been step but I have lots of tips for someone trying to do something similar!

If you have a pretty place that's furnished nicely, you can rent to students for more than $1100/bed, which can add up for large, older homes with many bedrooms.

Maximize your W2 earnings, get a 2nd job, swallow your pride and live at home (if that's an option), don't spend a dime on anything if it is not food, housing, or transportation, and pile up money. 

Evan is right, I have been deep diving and analysing the STR market for a while now and you quickly come to realize that a decent home and location for LTR doesn't at all equate to a successful or profitable STR.
