I have had some people say yes to this question and my recommendation is to walk away.For credit checks I use CreditRetriever.com I feel their prices are fair and the report is very easy to read.

All of those gurus sure do make it sound easy, but it hasn't been that way for me.

Fortunatly she knew the heirs and it was easy obtained heirship affidavits and getting everyone to settle on price and concessions.

I asked them politely if, since they had no evidence that I did or did not ever pay them or owe them, they would contact the credit agency and erase it.

Now using private money which isnt governed by RESPA and has no seasoning issues is the easy way around this.

I have been a General Contractor for going on thirteen years now and found out that it is to easy to take money and run if you are a scum bag contractor.

If it was that easy, (No money required, no risk) we'd all be bazillionaires.
