.- If the buyer pays for a termite inspection & there *are* termites in that localized area (the only area I'd expect them, seeing as how it's the only wood on the house I've known to ever be wet)

Structural engineers have a wide range of expertise in different material types that would require me to entirely pivot my career field.Currently my thought is to limit my service to providing stamped drawings for permitting of minor alterations of existing wood frame structure such as windows, doors, and load bearing walls.

We added wainscoting in the dinning area, we installed wood walls, we removed eye soars...you name it.

The property was advertised as new construction, small time builder from NJ, but the inspector found used wood in the crawl space and other evidence to support his theory that this was not only a used build, but a very poor build as well.
