@Laura Williams quite a leap to get a silver lining out of this, but that pipe you dug out looks like it was either leaking already or about to go.

First step is to review your lease and loan docs and discuss with your attorney to make sure you do every thing the correct way as to not violate the loan covenants.

They've finally got that rolling in my area, and so I'm going to talk to my doc to see about getting tested, as I had 2 CV like illnesses (maybe one long drawn out one) since this kicked off.

Replace roof before it starts leaking or after? 

The nice thing about it being online as well is you can set up automatic reminders to ensure that they are getting reminded of an incomplete application or missing documents, etc. all without you having to take the time to check and see if they turned it in or send in docs. 

One thing I would add is to emphasize a review of the loan docs and covenants with your attorney and the financials that were submitted when you applied for and received the loan.
