Getting the plan modified would be difficult if not next to impossible.

There are lenders that will do Helocs on co-ops... might be more difficult since it's not owner occupied.

It was very difficult to get any info about the tenants before we purchased the property and soon after we purchased it the tenants in one house moved out.I realize this is a very small sample size to draw any conclusions from, but I guess I want to challenge the belief that it is better for the owner that the tenant not to know who he or she is.

It is of course a long time off - but I think once its done it will be really difficult to afford anything in the downtown OC area. 

I'm interested in purchasing my unit but read in the DetroitFreePress that getting a condo mortgage is difficult because not all lenders will finance many condo purchases.

Other instances they stopped paying and the fees and interest collected goes up quickly including legal etc.I hold the note on a property that the unpaid principle balance is $65k but it has $85k in late payments, fees etc.
