I've expressed to my sphere of influence that this is my goal and have them keeping an ear out for me.I really don't want to cold call as I am someone who hates getting cold calls.  

I've heard great things about the city and it pops into my mind on occasion as a possible nice and reasonably affordable place to move to escape the freezing cold winters!!!!

But dont be pushy about getting friends/family to like it, and dont use the "like my page" feature where facebook just mindlessly sends out a cold request to your entire friends list, its extremely impersonal.  

I also learned how brutal it is to work in the hot sun, severe cold and in areas where one slip could mean a broken neck.

The lifestyle is terrible, as I am in the field in remote locations in a trailer, working 12+ hours usually on a night shift in cold weather. 

I also plan on cold calling a few agencies and attending some local meet ups to network.

The guy I have been dealing with is claiming the investor who is funding my loan has cold feet.

I talked to all of the local lawyers offices in town and non of them deal in real estate so I kind have been left out in the cold since then.

And isn't this after the wholesaler spent money marketing for distressed sellers, d4d, cold calling, sifting through ads, writing offers and whatever other means to construct a deal.

I'm originally born and raised in the beautiful warm island of Puerto Rico but moved for graduate studies and stayed in the bitter cold (but beautiful) Wisconsin.
