Our current working plan is to get a steady stream of flips going, to generate income that will enable us to escape the corporate rat race, and to acquire buy-and-holds to build a retirement portfolio.

I will do some of the work, as I did that previously with my previous horse. 

I still recommend I­­t to people I know who are stuck in that rat race mentality.

So, you line up the note deal in the direction you need to play the hand, the horse can push or pull the cart.

They have a legal team behind them, its a lot of wealthy horse owners who are trying to have this shut down. 

We closed the business and were literally sent back to square one.After 5 long years of rebuilding ourselves, we are finally at a point where we feel we can begin to get back into real estate investing, as we both still believe that investing in real estate is our ticket to early retirement from the rat race and have a nest egg large enough to outlast us by many years.This time around, we plan to focus purely on buy-and-hold rental properties (long-term and vacation rentals). 

The race is on 8 October.  

People need to know that it really is possible to escape the "rat race".

I think the horse is out of the 506(b) barn already for you to be raising money from anyone you didn't already know (or having someone you didn't know help you). 

This tells me what path I need to follow. 1 unit down, only about 19 more to go before I can exit the rat race!
