In my area there are 4-5 that folks are always posting in talking about deals, changing laws/lending standards, etc...Hope that helps, best of luck!

There is also a very large real estate community in the Atlanta MSA, so don't be afraid to get out to some events or reach out to folks directly here on BiggerPockets.

Engineers focus on systems and design, calcs, and safety measures for the most part.the folks above are correct in that the rules should be somewhat similar.

My biggest concern at this point in my process is to ensure that I'm asking all of the right questions and doing my due diligence to ensure that my investment is 'safe'.I'd really appreciate it if folks in this group would throw out questions that I need to be asking. 

I always make sure I have a good umbrella policy but I would also be interested what other folks are doing for insurance.
