I recently got a lot in Winter Haven, FL (central Florida) with a house in a bad shape (rehab will not be cost effective) and I am thinking about putting a new modular home on the lot. - Does anybody know if you can put a modular home if previous one was stick built? 

The property I have in mind is 33 years old, in overall good shape, but at 33 years I am sure they can find issues if they want to.

The town is in good shape, seems family oriented.I imagine all these places with vibrant boat activity--if I lived in NYC and could afford a boat slip, I'd love to be able to motor (or sail) my boat up to one of these little towns to get away on some weekends!  

I wish more modular companies on the East coast start to follow this trend because they are falling behind.

I had my financial advisor evaluate the document, and it appeared to be in fine shape.

The question remains tho, what will you find when tearing out the drywall - is there more damage behind the enclosure, are the studs behind the wall in bad shape?
