It seems that while there are Federal rules allowing crowdfunding, it's up to states to adopt rules allowing it also, and so far only 30 states have done so (and, not surprisingly, Rhode Island isn't one of them).However it's not clear what the difference is between "intrastate" funding rules and within-state-only rules; maybe there's a special case for a RI company getting funding from RI investors only, if that would apply.

I guess when it dropped off that sharply, i was surprised and confused because i know that there are much more than the 300 ish addresses they gave me. what i do not want to happen is to spend the money marketing to the 6k names only to find out that i built my list incorrectly and wasted my money. thoughts?

I'm surprised, however, your rents haven't risen since then.From a depreciation perspective, accelerating your depreciation isn't helping you unless you can claim real estate professional status.
