Real Estate Agent & Another Full Time Job?
6 February 2021 | 39 replies
If you have an extensive network of friends, family, business colleagues, neighbors etc to tap into, then you might make decent money in the first year.If I were you I'd definitively keep the job, for 2 main reasons: real estate isn't glamorous like it is on TV and as James mentioned most people quit, and realistically in the first year you won't be very busy unless you do time intensive stuff such as cold calling / door knocking etc.Trust me, you don't become a RE agent and all of a sudden the phone starts ringing non stop.

Then in 1999, the city changed the zoning to allow all of these old offices to change their zoning to residential or hotel and not have to provide parking (which being built in the early 20th century in a city that at the time had a huge public transit system, none of them had).Anyway, the point is a change in zoning suddenly gave them life and value.

Need only look at Sweden, Netherlands, Belarus... or states with no lockdown orders and no surge in deadly cases to see that’s not true. https://www.newser.com/story/2...Originally posted by @Wendy Hoechstetter:@Mike Bolen That is complete insanity to allow church services, and to even consider “opening” states.

Let's raise the rents!

Ask them first what if any repairs or upgrades they need (when you introduce a rent increase they will suddenly remember what needs to be fixed, cut this off by getting them ageable that the home is in good shape first) Then let them know that an increase is coming, and I like to offer some choice, even if they really arent choies, it makes them feel more in control.
