This was extremely beneficial as we did not have to deal with any potential increased fire hazards or smells that come from smoking marijuana. 2) Because the dispensaries were only allowed to operate within a very specific area, (I have been told that their permit only allows them to operate within a few city blocks here in Oakland.) the dispensaries do their best to run a very smooth operation.

They also now will be communicating with the buyers lender directly, they will be talking with their attorney directly and will help them select the home inspector and all that stuff making it more likely for it to be a smooth transaction with the one less person to deal with.

The underwritting is a little more strict and there are some more hoops to jump through but I have a good relationship with the LO and he knows my situation so things usually go more smoothly than the average transaction.Unfortunately, Its most likely going to be local brokers that will be able to be the most flexible with their underwritting terms and they just sell the loan right away (most of the time to Wells) so they really won't be held accountable for anything.
